Fabiano Ricci makes its shoes in Monte Urano, in Italy's Marche shoemaking district, and sizes them in European numeric. The RFR last runs true to a modern Italian shoe. Most men take their usual dress-shoe size, or half a step down from a chunky sports sneaker. If you sit between two sizes, take the smaller. The calf suede and grain calf uppers ease about half a size across the first two weeks of wear.

How the chart runs
The US column skips size 8. The chart jumps from US 7.5 (EU 40) straight to US 8.5 (EU 41). If you usually wear a US 8, take EU 41.
The UK column skips size 7.5. The chart jumps from UK 7 (EU 41) straight to UK 8 (EU 42). If you usually wear a UK 7.5, we normally put you in EU 42.
Half sizes are made in some models but not the whole range. If your size lands on a half, message us and we will confirm what is available on the model you have in mind.
The U1250 slip-on sneakers wear a touch roomier than the Chelsea boot and dress styles because of the elasticized lacing and stretch fabric. Between sizes on a U1250, take the smaller with confidence.
How to measure your foot at home
- Stand on a blank piece of paper with your heel flush against a wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pen held straight up and down.
- Measure the length from the wall to the mark in inches (or centimetres).
- Match the length to the Foot Length column above and take the EU size on that row.
- If your measurement lands between two rows, take the smaller for a snug modern fit.
