Description

The tin that keeps a wax jacket alive. Rub it into worn seams, thin shoulders, and dry cuffs, then work it in with a hair dryer or a warm cloth until the fibres drink it back. One re-proof a year and the coat that has been in the family for a decade keeps shedding rain like it did the day it came home.

How To Re-Proof

Brush the jacket down and sponge off any surface dirt with cold water. Do not use detergent.
Stand the tin in a bowl of hot water for ten minutes until the wax loosens.
Apply with a clean cloth in small circles, working extra into seams, elbows, and cuffs.
Warm the finished coat with a hair dryer to melt the wax evenly into the weave.
Hang overnight in a warm room and it is ready to wear.
