Grenadine from Drake's, woven from high twist silk yarn on wooden looms that date back to 1928. The open, gauzy weave reads as texture rather than pattern, which is what makes a solid grenadine the most useful tie a man can own. Warp and weft are dyed to the same colour, so the green stays deep and even rather than breaking up.
