Fit & Sizing

Cut to Tagliatore’s Vesuvio block, a traditional shoulder seam with light canvas and interlining, more structured than the Holland sport coat block and predominantly used for suits. Hand-finished in Martina Franca, Puglia, with a variance tolerance of about one centimetre across measurements.

This is the size chart for Tagliatore's Vesuvio suit: the jacket and its matching Vesuvio trouser, sized to the same R-scale. Take your normal jacket size, and the trouser is cut to pair with it. Trousers ship unfinished at the hem, and we tailor the length free in-store. Allow plus or minus 1 cm variance across measurements, as each piece is hand-finished in Martina Franca, Puglia.

How to Measure

Half-measurements (1/2) are taken flat across the garment, not doubled. Jacket: Chest is below the armpit, seam to seam. PTP is across the back, seam to seam. Sleeve length is shoulder seam to cuff. Jacket length is base of collar to hem. Bicep is across the sleeve at the bicep. Stomach is across the waist at the narrowest point. Trouser: Waist is flat across the top of the waistband. Thigh is across the widest point below the crotch. Knee and bottom (hem) are flat across the leg. Inseam is the unfinished inner-leg length, crotch to hem. Outseam is waistband to hem. Rise is crotch seam to top of waistband.
