A wool jacket for the stretch of fall when a waxed jacket is too much and a knit is not enough. The Tracker is Barbour's take on the country check jacket, cut in 100% wool in a brown check, close enough to wear over a shirt and roomy enough to take a lambswool crew underneath.

The check is brown on brown with a quiet lift, so from across a room it reads as a texture rather than a pattern. Corduroy collar, zip front with studs over the top, and two lower welt pockets deep enough for a phone and keys. The body is fully lined in polyester, which is what keeps a wool jacket from dragging on a knit sleeve.

Ours goes over denim and a crewneck from late September, and under a topcoat once the temperature drops past freezing. Dry clean only, so treat it as a jacket rather than a shirt.

Size Chart

Letter sized, SM through 3XL. Take your usual menswear size. This is a regular fit with room for a shirt or a fine-gauge knit underneath. If you plan to layer a heavy sweater under it all winter, go up one size. Flat measurements have not been taken on this style yet, so come in and try it on if you are between sizes.

Barbour letter sizing. These are the body measurements the size is built to fit, not the garment laid flat.

Sizing Notes

Toggle between inches and centimetres with the IN/CM buttons. A 40 inch chest sits at the top of MM and the bottom of LG: we send that customer to LG if he layers and MM if he does not.

How to Measure

Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level. Waist: around the natural waist, where you bend. Measure over a shirt, not a sweater, and do not pull the tape tight.
