The 4012HC is Alden's Indy Boot in brown rusticalf, a pull up leather with visible grain that lightens at the flex points and builds a patina with wear.

It is built on the Trubalance last with a prestitch reverse antique welt and a 360 commando sole, which puts a full rubber tread under the boot for winter footing. Goodyear welt construction means it can be resoled rather than replaced.
