Drake's cuts this five pocket jean from 14.2oz selvedge denim woven in Okayama, Japan, on shuttle looms and dyed with natural indigo. The cloth carries the slubby, uneven surface that slow weaving gives you and that a modern loom cannot fake.

It comes pre washed, so the hand is already soft and the colour has settled. From here it fades along the lines of how you actually wear it.

Fit

Relaxed tapered leg on a slightly higher rise. It runs roomier than a standard slim jean, so take your usual waist rather than sizing up. Measurements are taken flat. Waist, thigh and hem are half measures.
