Blue Tickweave Tweed Waverly Jacket

Tweed is the jacket plenty of guys want in October and talk themselves out of, because they can’t picture what goes with it. Grey flannels and a white shirt, brown cords and a roll neck, or jeans and boots on a Saturday all work. A blue tweed sits on the easy side of tailoring, which is where most of us actually dress.

It’s the Waverly cut: a 3-roll-2 front with notch lapels and a barchetta chest pocket, on a soft, natural shoulder. There’s a full canvas inside, and the body is half-lined. The sleeves come unfinished so the length can be set to your arm, and our tailors do that in the shop.

Dress it up with a knit tie or down with a plain tee. It doesn’t mind either.
