Black Rock 7004 2pc Stock Suit

Every wardrobe ends up needing a black suit. A funeral, an evening wedding, an invitation that says dark and formal. This is the one we keep on the rack for those days, from a Montreal brand whose stock suits we carry. Black, two pieces, nothing to explain.

The cloth is mostly wool, 70%, with 30% polyester blended in. Wear it with a white shirt and a black knit tie for the evening, or a pale blue shirt and a plain dark tie for a service. Black shoes, black belt, and you are done.

For a wedding party, black works when the day is formal or after dark, and a whole group can start from the same suit. Because it is a stock suit, we alter it in our own shop and special-order the sizes we do not have on the rack, usually two to three weeks. Outfitting a group? Come in about two months before the date.

It is the suit you do not wear often and are very glad to have when you need it.
