About Goral
Goral is a Sheffield shoemaker. The family workshop has been making shoes since 1936, began in Poland, and is now run by the fourth generation. Every pair is made by hand in England and Blake-stitched, so it can be resoled.
The first two pairs on our floor are the Mellor II sneaker and the Baslow Chelsea boot, both in dark brown Horween Chromexcel, a pull-up leather from Chicago.
Sizing and fit
US sizing is primary on our site, with UK and EU on the size chart. Both run true to size, so order your usual US size. The Mellor comes in half sizes. The Baslow is made in whole sizes only, and Goral recommends going up a size if you are between sizes. Other sizes and widths can be special ordered, so ask us.
Break-in
Chromexcel takes a little time to break in, and then it softens and moulds to the foot. Both models are built to be resoled, and Goral states a lifetime repair guarantee on its footwear.
