The waxed canvas N-1 with a full mouton lining and collar. Modelled after the WWII deckhand coat that got issued to Navy sailors on carriers and destroyers, this one is a homage to founder Bill Dehen's Pacific theatre service and to a family company that has been cutting, sewing and knitting in Portland, Oregon since 1920.
Fossil Brown Halley Stevensons waxed canvas on the outside, honey-toned Kodiak mouton (real sheep fur) on the inside and around the collar. This is a jacket built to break down a cold, damp winter and get better looking every year you wear it.

- Interior left-chest zipper pocket with matching brass #10 zip

Waxed cotton canvas shell, 100% cotton. Mouton lining and collar, 100% sheep fur. Cuffs, 100% worsted wool. Zippers, brass. Buttons, brass.
- Spot clean the shell with a damp cloth
- Do not machine wash and do not dry-clean
- Brush the mouton lining with a soft brush to lift the pile
- Re-wax once a year with Halley Stevensons wax dressing to keep the shell weather-tight
- Hang on a wide wooden hanger, never a wire one
Size Chart
Fits slim through the body because of the mouton bulk. If you're between sizes, size up. This is meant to be worn over a heavy shirt or a lightweight sweater, not a bulky knit.
Available in S through XXL. Come in and try one on if you can, the mouton lining changes how the jacket sits on the shoulders versus a standard N-1.
