A striped oxford is the button-down to buy once you already own the plain blue one. This one is cut from ecru oxford cloth with fine paired stripes in grey, and it is made in Italy. The collar is the part to pay attention to: a button-down collar with a brushed interlining that floats inside instead of being fused, so it rolls into a soft curve under a jacket rather than sitting flat and stiff.

Under a navy or brown sport coat it passes as a proper dress shirt. Open at the neck with the sleeves pushed up, it works as easily over denim or cord trousers. The stripes are fine and set in pairs, so a knit tie or a tweed jacket can still be the louder piece. There is a button-flap pocket on the chest, and the cuffs are single rounded ones that close with one button. Drake's cuts it in the regular silhouette and rates it true to size, so order the collar you normally wear.

Sizing Notes

This is the size chart for this shirt, in collar sizes 14.5 to 18. These are Drake's own garment measurements for this style. Pit to pit is measured straight across the chest, so double it for the full circumference. Sleeve runs from the shoulder seam to the cuff, and length is measured down the centre back.
