A full brogue with all the character and none of the fuss. The deep tan calf is finished by hand in layers, so no two pairs patina quite the same, and the wingtip and perforations catch the light in a way a plain shoe never will. This is the dressier-casual end of the tailored shelf: sharp under a navy or grey suit, and just as at home with chinos and a knit when you want texture without a tie. It's Goodyear welted and built to be resoled, so it earns its keep over years, not seasons. The studded rubber sole keeps the brogue upright and dry on a Canadian sidewalk, it's fully leather lined and made in England. If you own one pair of brown brogues in your life, this is the grade to own.
“Made in England”
Stocked in a G (wide) fitting. Fits true to size on the last; if you're between sizes, take the half-size down. Every size on this page is US. Loake stamps the box and the sole in UK, which runs one full size below the US size shown, so a US 10 arrives in a box marked 9. That is the correct shoe, not a picking error. Tap UK or EU in the chart below to convert.
Sizes on our site are shown in US. Loake is an English maker, so the box and the sole are stamped in UK, one full size below the US size shown. A US 10 comes in a box marked 9. Tap UK or EU to switch the primary column and read your size across. EU sizes are whole numbers only (Loake makes no EU half sizes), so a US/UK half size shares the EU number shown, so order the whole EU. Fits true to size on the last; if you're between sizes, take the half-size down.
Need a half size or a different width? We can special-order it. Loake makes these in E (narrow), F (regular), G (wide) and H (extra-wide), and every half size.
