Light blue is the workhorse colour of a serious casual shirt drawer, and Stenstroms knows it. This one, cut in Fitted Body with a printed contrast panel inside the collar stand and cuffs, is what I hand a client who wants their weekday shirt game upgraded without going anywhere near a plain oxford.
The fabric is cotton twill - substantial, softening with each wash, and holding a clean silhouette after an iron. The contrast piece inside collar and cuffs is a woven print rather than a stamped one, so it holds up wash after wash. It's a small detail, but it's exactly the sort of thing that reveals where a shirt was designed.
Fitted Body - Stenstroms' shaped classic. Two back darts, gently tapered waist, slightly fuller through the chest than Slimline. Cutaway collar, single-button cuffs, mother-of-pearl buttons throughout. Wear it open at the neck under a soft jacket, or on its own with dark denim.
