The Navy Brushed Herringbone 1647 Stone Trouser by Alberto is a great example of how a five-pocket pant can move beyond denim without becoming overly dressy. We selected it for its deep navy colour and soft brushed herringbone fabric, which gives the trouser subtle texture and a richer seasonal character while remaining incredibly easy to wear.
The fabric combines 66% polyester, 32% viscose, and 2% elastane, giving it a soft hand, comfortable stretch, and enough structure to maintain a clean appearance throughout the day. The fine herringbone is particularly well done. From a distance it reads almost as a solid navy, while up close the weave brings out considerably more depth.
Cut in Alberto's Modern Fit, the 1647 Stone uses classic five-pocket construction with front scoop pockets, a coin pocket, and two clean rear patch pockets. The result sits nicely between a jean and a tailored trouser, making it an easy choice with everything from knitwear and suede shoes to a sport shirt and casual jacket.
