A zip jacket for people who do not like zip jackets. It has a plain collar and a zip front, it is cut relaxed, and it wears more like a shirt-jacket than a bomber.
The cloth is Redpath flannel in anthracite Prince of Wales check: 100% wool, mulesing-free, woven in Scotland, and lined in 100% cotton. Anthracite is the dressed-up grey. It goes with navy, brown and black without arguing with any of them.
It is cut generously: take your usual size for the intended oversized look, or size down one for a closer fit. It is cut relaxed, so there is room for a knit underneath at your true chest size.
Made by the Atelier of Mr Erbas in Pantin, France, whose name is on the label.
