Founded in Paris in 2013 by Déborah Neuberg, formerly of Hermès, De Bonne Facture takes its name from the French expression for "well made." The idea behind it is simple and rare: every garment carries a label naming the atelier that made it. Coats and jackets come from Lys Couture in Pantin, trousers from Le Textile in Bagnolet, shirts from the atelier of João Nuno Luz in Fânzeres, Portugal, and knits from the Scaglione family in Bergamo.

The clothes are slow menswear in the truest sense. Relaxed, high-rise silhouettes, natural fibres in an organic palette, and a permanent collection of core models that return each season in new cloths instead of being reinvented. The Artist Shirt and the Balloon Trouser have become quiet signatures among people who take clothes seriously without needing to talk about them.

We are one of around thirty shops in the world carrying De Bonne Facture, and the first in Western Canada. Come try the fit in person in Edmonton, or order online. We ship across Canada.
