Three buttons, a notch lapel and three patch pockets, with no lining and no back vent. It is tailored in outline and casual in how it is made. The brand took the idea from the architecture of the Union des Artistes Modernes, and the jacket has the same plainness: nothing decorative, every line doing a job.

The cloth is an English wool flannel in olive puppytooth, a small-scale houndstooth that reads as a warm olive-brown from a distance. It is 100% wool, woven in the UK from mulesing-free wool, and it is the same cloth as the One Pleat Trousers.

The fit is slightly oversized by design. It is cut generously: take your usual size for the intended oversized look, or size down one for a closer fit. There is room for a knit underneath at your true chest size.

Made by the Atelier of Mr Erbas in Pantin, France. Wear it over a crewneck on a weekday, or with the matching trousers when you want it to read as a suit without being one.

Size Chart

This is the size chart for the Traveler Jacket. The jacket is unlined and cut slightly oversized. Take your usual size for the intended oversized look, or size down one for a closer fit. Chest (to fit) is the body chest each size is cut for, and the rows below it are the garment itself, measured flat in store. Chest, bicep and waist are half measurements taken flat; double them for the full circumference. Shoulder is point to point across the back and sleeve runs from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Length is taken down the back. Sizes 46, 56 and 58 are not measured yet.
